    Alenia Aermacchi is getting ready for the M-346's production It's in the pipeline the convention among the Ministries of Defense, Economic Development and the Economy to allocate the fundings for the acquisition of a first group of M-346s for the Air Force; a convention that should be signed in the next weeks in order to stipulate the contract within the year. These, according to what AIR PRESS knows, the stages that followed what, recently, the Undersecretary of Defense, Lorenzo Forcieri, declared about the method chosen to start, being the deficiency of money from the Defense and the Air Force above all, a first range of the new Alenia Aermacchi aircraft whose acquisition from the national Air Force is considered a priority by the foreign Air Forces interested in the M-346. The first group should comprise two bulks of seven planes each, the first of which coming with a simulator and ten years of logistic support, the second to be contracted in 2009. At the same time Alenia Aermacchi, which already has at the assembly line in Venegono the first"low rate" (LRIP 00 - Low Installments Initial Production) model of mass production, is getting ready for the two bulks of the first group: all airplanes will be assembled in the main hangar in Venegono, in which there'll be two parallel assembly lines, one MB-339 (Malaysia, Nigeria) and a second M-346 line,; the activities of modernization and maintenance, comprised those regarding the AMX, will take place in a hangar to be constructed ex novo at the runway's edge. And as well as the first delivery of seven+seven aircraft also the first M-346s for foreign customers, probably Greece and the United Arab Emirates, will have to be assembled, in order to assure their deliveries together with those of the Italian airplanes. This because right from the start the export outlooks are excellent considering the demands from EAU (between twenty-four and forty-eight), Greece (forty-five) and Singapore (ten) while it's said one of the contenders of the Italian airplane, the English Hawk, would have been withdrawn from the market leaving only one competitor, the Korean-American T-50. Consulted regarding this issue from AIR PRESS, the general executive manager from Alenia Aermacchi, Carmelo Cosentino, states "we are thinking about a production line whose potentiality, in the next three years, should be able toassemble between 18-20 aircraft a year". http://www.airpressonline.it/news.php?id=96

    M-346 presented to Sarkozy: an unprecedented show It's Italian the only no-French aircraft to exhibit in front of the French Republic president, Nicolas Sarkozy, who visited Le Bourget on Saturday before the closing of the Parisian airshow (23rd June). "It has been an unprecedented show", the managing director from Alenia Aermacchi, Carmelo Cosentino, has said to AIR PRESS, emphasizing this event seen by the president of the Republique Française shows how France is not regardless at all of the new generation "trainer" from the Finmeccanica company. The interest came out during the Parisian airshow when the French Air Force chief of staff, general Stéphane Abrial, has clearly asked to check out the made in Italy products, in particular the M-346. Forty minutes of talk with Cosentino who reported to the chief of general staff of the Armée de l'Air about the evaluation of the M-346 lead by the French test-pilots.     Je ne comprende pas pourquoi Tu continue a moi attaquer. Peut Tu moi dire quel terribles mots j'ai ecrit sur le 3D pour faire t'embeter? Tu veut dire que je suis content si le Rafale ne se vent et l'Efa oui? Que est ce que Tu as decouvert?? C'est claire, je suis italien et mon pais avec des autre ont developpè l'Efa, c'est normal si j'espere que l'Efa se vend bien et le rival (Rafale/Suckoi/F22) ne se vend pas. Pour ce que regarde la Belgique je dit encore une foi que choisir Efa, Gripen ou F35 donne plus des avantages car ce trois sont le plus diffusè in Eu et ca permit de 'share' bcp plus avec les autre partner europeèn. C'est raisonement est vrai au moin jusque le Rafale est in ligne seulement in France. Ou en est le mal de ce qui je dit? Ici sur le forum il y ont bcp de gens que attend mauvais nouvelle sur le F35 ou sur le 787 et Tu dit a moi que j'ai du mal a admittre que j'espere que le Rafale ne se vend pas? Ca est une belle incoerence...
  7. 642 dejà comandè. Demain la premier sortie. Son destin est celle d'etre le roi des ciel du monde pour les prochain 30 ans. Bon chanche a cette superbe et capable avion.
  8. L'angle d'attaque du "Ski Jump" pour les PA stovl (Invincible, PdA, Chakri et Cavour) avec Harrier/Av8b+ est de 12,5°. Seul le GG a 6,5° mais a besoin de une vitesse superieur pour lancer les avions (pas des problems ses 4 LM2500 puisse a 32kts). Je pense que le meme angle est pour le futur CVF.

    Tjs contre ce que je dit. :rolleyes: Je n'ai pas dit que le Rafale n'est pas bon. Au contraire. J'ai dit que pour un pais europeènne que doit changer ses avions, c'est mieux de s'equiper avec des avions qui sont in ligne avec la plus part des armeè de l'air europeènne, ce qui permit de epargner bcp d'argent pour l'entrainement et les reparacions (fix). Acheter un avions comme l'Efa ou l'F35 qui sont et aurant bcp de les armeè de l'air EU est une garantie pour fair economie. L'Efa est dejà present in Uk, Italie, Alemagne, Espagne et Autriche. Le F35 il y aura in Uk, Italie, Pays-Bas, Danemark/Norvege et des autre. Acheter ce genre des avions donne bcp plus des opportunitè que acheter le Rafale que est in ligne seulement dans 1 pais. Mes opinions sont livre et sont seulement consideration de strategie logistique et comerciel. Pourquoi moi attaquer????

    Tres mieux l'Efa. 30 Efa pour la Belgique et ils peuvent choisir ou s'entretenir (Uk, Italie, Espagne, Alemagne). Les avions plus important in EU dans le futur sont EFA, F35 et Gripen. Il y auront in bcp des armeè de l'air europeènne (la quasi totalitè). Efa ou F35 est la mieux pour la Belgique aussi si elle veut parteciper a des mision internationals avec USA et EU/Nato sans avoir problems de compatibilitè.

    POur tous les envieux du puissante F35: USA to approve export variant of F-35 By Stephen Trimble A "sanitised" aircraft design should be approved by year-end to sell the Lockheed Martin F-35 Joint Strike Fighter to countries outside the original international partnership. The non-partner international variant is being approved ahead of expected Foreign Military Sales orders from Israel and Singapore, and as a new export campaign ramps up to target Japan. The JSF joint programme office has forwarded its recommended design to each of the three US armed services buying the F-35 and final approvals from within the Office of the Secretary of Defense are expected "well before the end of the year", says Jon Schreiber, the US director of JSF international programmes. Programme officials have also since mid-June received authorisation from US export control officials to release design studies to Israel that include the integration of unique weapon systems, Schreiber says. Israel has requested integrating its own air-to-air and air-to-surface weapons with the JSF, and "they will be able to do their own gap analysis", he says. The Netherlands and the UK are set to become the first international buyers for the F-35 next year, with Italy to follow in 2009. All three countries are to buy one or two aircraft during low-rate initial production to participate in the operational testing phase. Meanwhile, the US government has decided to offer the F-35 instead of the Lockheed F-22 as an option to meet Japan's F-X fighter requirement.
