...quand elles seront au point, actuellement c'est tous les 75 décollages qu'elles foirent soit une à deux fois par jour en cas d'opérations intensives, de plus chaque panne affecte d'autres parties du navire, pour l'instant c'est une calamité, il faut impérativement que les constructeurs résolvent ce problème et ceci rapidement.

Un ascensceur ou un radar en panne on peut plus ou moins compenser alors que là c'est tout le système qui est en rade. Les japonais ne devraient pas se précipiter, déjà que le F35 B...

The Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force (JMSDF) commissioned its 11th Soryu-class diesel-electric attack submarine (SSK) in Kobe in Hyogo Prefecture on March 5, 2020. JS Ōryū (SS-511) joins the JMSDF’s Submarine Flotilla 1, based in Kure. It is the first-in-class boat to feature lithium-ion batteries.

Pas du tout la même chose. C'est  un classe Hibiki,  navire auxiliaire de mesures acoustiques , porte sonar et ce genre de choses.  D'ailleurs ce n'est pas un navire rapide , plutôt dans les 12 noeuds et ~ 70 x 30 m  

Les navires de chez Austal , les Joint High Speed Vessel  pour le transport  c'est ~ 100 x 30 et plus de 40 noeuds , les USA ont une dizaine de ce genre

The Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force (JMSDF) commissioned today its first Maya-class AEGIS Destroyer at Japan Marine United Corporation (JMU) Isogo shipyard in Yokohama. JS Maya まや (DDG-179) joins the JMSDF’s Escort Flotilla 1, based in Yokosuka.

Launched on July 30th 2018 from the JMU Shipyard in Yokohama, the JS Maya is the first of a new class of improved destroyers with ballistic missile defense capabilities.

Japan’s Type 12 SSM Deployed to Keep Watch On Miyako Strait

Japan continues to reinforce its Southern Islands. A new Type 12 Surface-to-Ship Missile (12式地対艦誘導弾) unit has recently been deployed at the garrison on Miyakojima island.

The Miyako Strait is about 135 nautical miles wide. The Type 12 deployed in Miyakojima have a range of around 108 nautical miles. A version with double range is under consideration.

The HVGP could eventually target large surface ships such as aircraft carriers, as demonstrated in this video which Naval News obtained exclusively from ATLA, the Acquisition, Technology & Logistics Agency of the Japanese M.O.D.

La marine japonaise a entamé depuis un mois des travaux sur le jds Izumo pour lui permettre d'accueillir des F35 B.

J'étais passé à côté de l'info, mais comme personne d'autre ne l'a signalé ... :blush:

La principale question est: un ski jump sera t'il installé?

Faut dire qu'entre Macron qui fait des ronds dans l'eau pour prendre sa décision et nos amiraux qui soutiennent mordicus que "parce que le NGF sera plus gros que le Rafale il faut que Notre prochain PA soit plus gros que le CdG", cela me démange...

30FFM: Japan’s Next Generation Frigate Taking Shape At Two Shipyards


Two Future Multi-Mission Frigates (FFM or 30FFM) are starting to take shape at two shipyards in Japan. Images and videos obtained by Naval News from local shipspotters show the integrated mast has been fitted. Both hulls should be ready for launch before the end of the year.

Un petit air de famille avec le Meteor (entrées d'air pas axi centrées) et ASMP ....

Les Anglais aident les Japonais sur le développement de leur futur missile AA long porté et ils ont achetés la technologie de propulsion du Meteor. 

Ils sont sûrement repartit de la même base que le missile air pour concevoir leur missile anti navire sauf que le poids est un peux plus élevée donc on arrive sur un croisement Meteor-asmp
