As a result of the increasing investments in the field of civil aviation in the middle east area and the influence it had on the reality of the increasing competition that this area is witnessing and resulted in a combination of a challenging factors which could not be faced individually, all these elements give a special importance to the recognition of  the latest developments in this due to the fundamental role of the air transportation among the other transportation sectors specially that the progress in air transportation is a main factor when evaluating the progress of countries depending on the latest developments in civil aviation field .

Syria Air Show.2009, the first International exhibition of aviation technology in Syria is held in order to spot light on the importance of the Arab and International cooperation that aims to build a developed transportation system especially in the field of civil aviation and in order to present the latest developments in this domain .

The first International exhibition of aviation technology in Syria (Syria Air Show.2009) is a specialized exhibition aiming to spot light on the aviation reality in Syria as one of the first countries that are working to reach a high level in this sector through demonstrating the services of different airlines either public or private  , the services of manufacturing companies , fuel supplying companies, maintenance companies in addition to the services concerning developing the air ports, air trade services, duty free and others.
