Le seul document serieux que j'ai vu est celui ci: Special Focus: Greek Procurement (2009-02-04) Smaller Font Bigger Font By: EPICOS S.A "We will not leave the country without the appropriate defence capability when Turkey is constantly provoking us," Mr. Evangelos Meimarakis, Minister of National Defence, said in a meeting with the Press, in the Hellenic MOD on Thursday January 22, 2009. Mr. Meimarakis, among other issues, commented also on the future armaments procurement programs which are included in the EMPAE 2006-2O15. Regarding the acquisition of the French frigate FREMM class the Minister said that the government has decided to start negotiations for the procurement of 6 frigates in the framework of a Greek-French government-to-government agreement. Mr. Meimarakis reaffirmed that the acquisition of the FREMM Frigates is connected with the release of the SCALP Naval land attack cruise missile which can be vertically launched from the frigate using the compact Sylver A70 vertical launcher. The total cost of the procurement will be 2.8 billion euros. The acquisition of Search and Rescue helicopters is also of high importance for the Hellenic MoD, Meimarakis said. And this is mainly the reason that the program will be accelerated, he added. Greece plans to acquire 15 AS-332CI Super Puma helicopters. The respective program will also be implemented in the framework of a Greek-French government-to-government agreement Regarding the exercise of the option, of a previous procurement contract for two additional helicopters of the same type, Meimarakis said that Hellenic MoD will not to proceed with it, as there was a difference in the final cost of the procurement (Hellenic MoD expected a price of about 42 million euros while the French proposal was for 45 millions euros). [glow=red,2,300]Vis-à-vis the potential procurement of the New Fighter Aircraft Mr. Meimarakis stressed that if Turkey will finally acquire new aircrafts Greece should start negotiations for the procurement of at least 40 fighters during 2009 in order to keep the balance between the two air forces. He also announced that the French proposition for the acquisition of 40 Rafale F.3 fighters in exchange for 25 older Mirage 2000 was finally rejected, because the acquisition cost of the 40 new fighters was high, while the benefit from the buy-back and eventually the re-selling of the older Mirage 2000-5 Mk. 2, was considered low. [/glow] Finally, Mr. Meimarakis stated that the Hellenic MoD will conduct a public tender for the acquisition of 5 new Maritime Patrol Aircrafts. Potential candidates for this procurement are the EADS- CASA C295 with FITS mission system of the same company; Alenia's ATR 72-500 ASW with Thales AMASCOS mission system and EMBRAER's P-99 with an L-3 Communication mission system. The budget for the specific program is 250 million euros and a request for proposal (RFP) is expected to be released within the next two months.
