Je peux me tromper mais il me semble que la solution PW etait basee sur un doublet de turboprop ce qui implique une boite de transfert interessante. Par ailleurs, il ne s'agissait pas d'une solution sur etagere comme cela a ete sous-entendu, d'aileurs il n'en existe toujours aucun prototype. Dans ce cas, il est curieux de pretendre que cette solution aurait ete meilleure que l'actuelle.

Detrompez moi mais il me semble avoir lu il y a bien longtemps que les entrees d'air du Rafale avaient ete dimensionnees depuis le debut pour un M88 plus puissant (9t). Ne me demandez pas les sources....

Bien sur que c'est la verite, je ne cherchais pas a etre ironique ou sardonique a ce sujet. La cooperation aurait eu du sens si elle avait ete initiee des le debut du programme, si le nombre de batiments avait ete le meme, si, si, si.....

C'est l'Angleterre...... Qui a son bouc-emissaire parfait de l'autre cote de la Manche (english Channel dans le texte...). Tous les problemes viennent de l'Europe et les solutions de Britannia. Mais ils ont des aspects sympa quand meme! Par ailleurs, il est vrai que cette cooperation (CVF/PA2) n'a jamais fait les gros titres ici, la France n'etant qu'un junior partner qui a achete les plans anglais.

Malheureusement, cette aide francaise lors des Malouines est passee sous silence de ce cote de la Manche. Par contre l'origine de l'Exocet et du SUE sont clairement precises. C'est une attitude assez generale vis a vis de la France qui se retrouve chez certains a l'occasion de la tentative en cours d'EDF d'acquerir British Energy. C'est pour cela que je suis dubitatif a l'idee d'u partage de batiments de l'importance d'un PA.
